Genuine Kingman Turquoise set in Sterling Silver Ring. Created by Navajo Artist Murphy Platero. Signed by the artist. The Mineral Park Mine, in the Cerbat Mountains 14 miles northwest of Kingman, was first mined by Indians centuries before white man came to the area. It is one of the three sites of prehistoric mining localities in the state of Arizona. Mineral Park was the most extensively worked area by the Indians of the three. S.A. "Chuck" Colbaugh found a cache of stone hammers uncovered in ancient trenches and tunnels, when he had the turquoise mining concession in May of 1962. Ithaca Peak and Turquoise Mine (formally called Aztec Mountain or Aztec Peak) are the most famous of the peaks in the area containing turquoise.

I have been ordering Native American jewelry from Treasures of the Southwest for many years. Never been disappointed. Most of all I appreciate the certificates of authenticity which prove that the pieces I purchase are crafted by Native American artists. I fell in love with Native American artistry when I started working at the Department of the Interior in Washington, DC in the 1970's when I visited their Native American store. My very first purchase was a Hopi beaded necklace which I still have and still wear. In 2010 I was attending my nephew's wedding in Tucson, Arizona and discovered a store that sold Native American jewelry and art pieces. I have been collecting pieces ever since. I am amazed at the diversity of colors in Turquoise jewelry and in other semi-precious stones used by Native American artists. I hope to continue collecting these precious examples of the diversity of Native American artists. I wear them proudly wherever I go.

Overjoyed to finally have my Starry Night at Pueblo CBegay pendant! This design will always remind me of my first night in SantaFe when i experienced a meteor shower and my first fireball. What a magical night perfectly captured by the Navaho master jeweler Mr. Begay.

I am delighted with the earrings. They are exactly what I expected. Your site was very easy to use and having the exact size and the discount made the purchase easy. I have another pair in a different design in spiny oyster which I bought from the artist directly in Jackson, WY when I visited there 6 years ago. I love them too. I will surely buy another pair before too long. Great to find your company! Thank you!

Bought a Calvin Begay inlaid ring in Sedona last year and wanted a pendant to go with it. This is a gorgeous addition and was pleasantly surprised that it came with a chain. Great service. Mahalo!
