Storyteller Pottery by Judy Lewis from the Acoma Pueblo. Judy Lewis is a full blooded Native American Indian from the Pueblo of Acoma and she was born in 1966. Judy has been making pottery since 1986. Judy was inspired to continue the family tradition of clay sculpting by observing many of her family members. She was especially motivated by the passion and ambition that her sister, Marily Ray-Lewis, showed towards working with clay, and the assistance that she gave to her. Judy hand coils pottery, vases, and storytellers using the methods of her ancestors. She uses only natural pigments for clay and paints. Judy has developed a special style of her own. I have been looking for a piece of No. 8 jewelry for quite some time. When I saw this ring, I knew it was the one, and it is the right size and a good ring size for me. Congratulations to artist Larson Lee for the lovely design and excellent use of the stone. This ring is a beautiful addition to my collection of turquoise.

I have been ordering Native American jewelry from Treasures of the Southwest for many years. Never been disappointed. Most of all I appreciate the certificates of authenticity which prove that the pieces I purchase are crafted by Native American artists. I fell in love with Native American artistry when I started working at the Department of the Interior in Washington, DC in the 1970's when I visited their Native American store. My very first purchase was a Hopi beaded necklace which I still have and still wear. In 2010 I was attending my nephew's wedding in Tucson, Arizona and discovered a store that sold Native American jewelry and art pieces. I have been collecting pieces ever since. I am amazed at the diversity of colors in Turquoise jewelry and in other semi-precious stones used by Native American artists. I hope to continue collecting these precious examples of the diversity of Native American artists. I wear them proudly wherever I go.

Overjoyed to finally have my Starry Night at Pueblo CBegay pendant! This design will always remind me of my first night in SantaFe when i experienced a meteor shower and my first fireball. What a magical night perfectly captured by the Navaho master jeweler Mr. Begay.
