Bird's Eye Kingman Turquoise Mine Sterling Silver Navajo Ring
Thumbnail Filmstrip of Bird's Eye Kingman Turquoise Mine Sterling Silver Navajo Ring Images
Genuine Bird's Eye Kingman Web Turquoise set in Sterling Silver Ring. Created by Navajo Artist Joe Piaso. Signed by the artist. The Mineral Park Mine, in the Cerbat Mountains 14 miles northwest of Kingman, was first mined by Indians centuries before white man came to the area. It is one of the three sites of prehistoric mining localities in the state of Arizona. Mineral Park was the most extensively worked area by the Indians of the three. S.A. "Chuck" Colbaugh found a cache of stone hammers uncovered in ancient trenches and tunnels, when he had the turquoise mining concession in May of 1962. Ithaca Peak and Turquoise Mine (formally called Aztec Mountain or Aztec Peak) are the most famous of the peaks in the area containing turquoise.

Absolutely beautiful pendant, the second one I've bought from this shop by this artist. Shipped quickly and securely.

It is not the first piece of jewellery I get from Calvin Begay, and I really like all of them. This one is very special, because it is so beautifully made, including all the desert colours in the stones, that wearing it is like carrying a little piece of the desert with me. He is such an artist! Really beautiful. I feel very happy and special when I wear it. Like being transported to a different place, the earth, the sky, desert landscapes...

I’ve purchased many pieces of wearable art from Treasures of the Southwest. The description is always accurate and the pictures are beautiful. This company is a dream to work with and will not disappoint!
