The mammoth roamed the Earth for 1.8 million years, until it's extinction about 10,000 years ago. Unearthed in Northern Alaska, Canada and Siberia, its unique colors are derived from minerals in the soil.

I absolutely love this Calvin Begay piece. I had seen a woman in Santa Fe wearing a similar piece (same shape) by Calvin Begay and I coveted it. I was excited when my Google search found Treasures of the Southwest and their vast catalogue of Calvin’s jewelry. Much to my delight, they had this beautiful piece. In addition to the unique shape, I love the colors as they are different than my other Southwest pieces.
Donna was wonderful to work with and very accommodating.
