Genuine Kingman Turquoise set in Sterling Silver Ring. Created by Navajo Artist Lyle Piaso. Signed by the artist. The Mineral Park Mine, in the Cerbat Mountains 14 miles northwest of Kingman, was first mined by Indians centuries before white man came to the area. It is one of the three sites of prehistoric mining localities in the state of Arizona. Mineral Park was the most extensively worked area by the Indians of the three. S.A. 'Chuck' Colbaugh found a cache of stone hammers uncovered in ancient trenches and tunnels, when he had the turquoise mining concession in May of 1962. Ithaca Peak and Turquoise Mine (formally called Aztec Mountain or Aztec Peak) are the most famous of the peaks in the area containing turquoise.

I will start with one very important fact... the photo's and video's of the Calvin Begay Fire and Ice Opal pieces are incapable of showing the stunning beauty of these pieces. I ordered and received the "Wing / Delta" shaped bracelet and Hoop Earrings for my wife for Christmas and upon inspection was overjoyed with the exceptional quality and exquisite appearance of these pieces. Stunning is an insufficient description. I immediately ordered a Fire and Ice Pendant. When she opened the pieces for Christmas... she too was amazed at their appearance... they seem to glow! Well, our anniversary is coming up May 1st and I was so impressed with these pieces, I just ordered a Calvin Begay Fire and Ice Opal Sterling Silver Link Bracelet to go along with the set because I know I could spend 5 months looking and not find a gift as beautiful and appreciated!
