The Matrix in this Genuine Pietersite Pendant is Outstanding! Genuine Pietersite Stones set in Sterling Silver Pendant and Post Earrings Set. Created by Navajo Artist Artie Yellowhorse. Signed by the artist. 18 inch, 2.2mm Sterling Silver Diamond Cut Rope Chain is included.
Pietersite is a stone aggregate made up of hawk's eye and tiger's eye. It was originally discovered by Sid Peters in 1962 in Namibia on the African continent. In 1993, a similar stone was discovered in the Hunan Province of China. Production from both of these mines is limited so the stone can be difficult to find.
