Genuine Number 8 Turquoise set in Sterling Silver. Stunning Sterling Silver Bracelet with a Beautiful Turquoise Stone. The Number 8 mine is located in Eureka County Nevada. Since 1976 there has been no Number 8 Turquoise mined. There is however, an existing stock pile that Mr. Dowell Ward, the last owner of the Number 8 mine, had stocked away for later sorting. The Turquoise is a collector's item--because once the reserve is gone there will be no more material released onto the market. The Gold Mining Company owns the claim to the Number 8 mine and it has been swallowed up by the gold mining operations. This is some of the last Number 8 Turquoise to be had and will be a great addition to your collection. Created by Navajo Artist Kathy Yazzie. Signed by the artist.
Bracelet sizes are measured inside the bracelet, completely around and across the opening. If the reading on the tape measure shows 7", for example, that is the size we assign to it.
Find your bracelet size by wrapping a flexible measuring tape completely around your wrist so it fits like a bracelet. The reading on the tape will indicate your bracelet size.
Most bracelets can be opened up about a 1/4", or closed down about a 1/4" in order to get a good fit unless they are bracelets with inlaid turquoise or other gem stones or similar solid construction which cannot be opened or closed in any amount without damage to the bracelet and/or gem stones.
